Industrial Design is a scientific discipline that integrates the aspects of\u00a0<em>art meets technology<\/em>. Designing an innovative concept into a product with a beautiful shape that is suitable and can be mass-produced to meet the needs of the customers.\u00a0<em>need &amp; want<\/em>. Forms of Industrial Designs such as;\u00a0<em>transportation, furniture, jewelry, cellular phone<\/em>from the latest designs to cars, some of the world's masterpieces come from the work of industrial designers.<\/p><p>Although it can be divided into several groups, in general, product design has the same mechanism in thinking creatively in designing a product, so that the product fulfills the right functional values and becomes a solution to the problems faced by humans without leaving the comfort aspect.\u00a0<em>user<\/em>\/The product life cycle is determined by the initial design pattern, be it innovation, modification or duplication.<\/p><p>Graduates of the S-1 Product Design Study Program FSRD ISI Yogyakarta are scholars who have the ability to think scientifically, critically, creatively, and innovatively, who are not only a product designer but also a product designer. <em>problem solver<\/em>\u00a0but also as\u00a0<em>creator of needs<\/em>\u00a0Product Design graduates create new products that then become a necessity for society. Product Design graduates can work and have a career in various companies and government and private agencies (national and multinational \/ overseas): Professional Product Designers, namely designers who work in the manufacturing\/manufacturing scale industry, who have the ability in the field of material processing, engineering, and design production processes, namely as model makers (<em>model-maker<\/em>) and\/or digital presentation material processor (<em>digital drawing and modeling<\/em>). Packaging Designer (<em>Packaging<\/em>Design Consultant, a person with visual communication skills who works to market an industrial product through its packaging design. Design Consultant, who works as an industrial partner because of his analytical skills on a product in an area.
